Sarah and Drew were brave to schedule their engagement session during the hottest August Phoenix has ever seen! The Wisconsin natives were troopers, and although their blood hasn’t entirely thinned out yet, we managed to keep them cool enough so that they didn’t melt on me Thanks again for braving the heat and allowing me to capture this exciting time in your life!

{ Laughed Until it Hurt } – Tenile and Jeff at Boojum Tree

Tenile, Jeff and I just couldn’t stop laughing at tonight’s anniversary Session at The Boojum Tree Hidden Gardens. Tenile and Jeff are from New Mexico and have been married 6 years, but Tenile thought it would be fun to get some photographs of the two of them while they were out here visiting. Jeff, as most husbands and fiance’s do, obliged her and was ” challenged” in the posing area, however, he caught on rather quickly Their endless smiles in their photos are adorable and I appreciated them laughing at all my lame-o jokes and awkward posing while shooting. Those who have shot with me can attest that I get into some weird poses while trying to get the shot.. most are very uncomfortable, but anything for my clients Onward to the sneak peaks!!!!

Ty and Brenda love the Boojum Tree so much, they not only wanted to get married there, but they wanted to also take their engagement photos there as well. I am always up to a challenge and can’t wait to shot them how different this space can look with different lighting.. so off camera flash is coming for the wedding portraits I love the Boojum Tree, it is just a unique space with some of the most gorgeous lighting in the valley. A true photographers paradise. Brenda and Ty, can’t wait for the big day! Hope you love the previews

{Jenna and Marc} – Tempe Town Lake Engagement Photos

I met Jenna and Marc downtown at Tempe town Lake last night for their engagement shoot. We were really hoping for some awesome sunset shots on the bridge, but mother nature wasn’t having any of that and gave us lots of dark clouds instead. At least it didn’t rain though! The two are planning a small destination wedding for themselves and so you need to convince them to take me with.. comments below are welcome, lol A Huge Thank you to Michael Shandro from Shandro Photo for coming all the way from CANADA to assist me with the lighting. I had so much fun with you all and hope you just love the photos!

{Martha and Dustin} – Engagement Session at The Desert Botanical Gardens

It was a perfect day for pictures yesterday! After my morning session with Shannon and her family I met up with Dustin and Martha for some SWEET engagement photos. We started out at the Botanical Gardens. We would have loved to stay longer, but they were having their illuminari that night, and they tried to kick us out earlier than we would have liked. So we decided to head over to Papago park for some sunset shots. The view was gorgeous and the clouds provided not only perfect shade for the daytime shoot, but awesome colors and shapes for sunset. Thanks again you two and I will see you in the Summer

Tina and Tracy are to be wed in Spring of Next year, but wanted some cute shots for their save the date cards. So we met up in Old Town Scottsdale and shot around some of the various locations down there. We had a great time, Tina is such a gorgeous woman and Tracy ( not only a lucky man) is one of the easiest people to get along with I have shot with. I am so far behind with posts for the blog these days I met with Jana and Brandon last weekend for their engagement session in downtown and just had a blast with them both! They laughed at all my jokes.. which made me feel good Thanks guys for a great time. And I still have TONS more sessions waiting for their blog post… I am working on it, but I have been really sick the past 4 days, so things have taken a back burner to my health. I promise to get things back to normal ASAP.
