My oldest daughter found a caterpillar a few nights ago and wanted to keep it as a pet. I thought it would be fun for her to see the transformation into a moth/butterfly, so we created a home for him. Today he finally stopped eating and climbed high into the branch we gave to him and started to spin a silk barrier. He should pupate soon, so I will post photos when he does that. we still don’t know if he is a butterfly or moth, I think moth since we have tons of those around here, but my husband thinks butterfly.. who wants to bet?
