Stephanie and Ryan’s wedding was beautiful! Gorgeous bride, handsome groom and lots of DIY details and glitter– we all know how I love things that sparkle.. what girl doesn’t? Ever After Floral did such a beautiful job on all the flower details, don’t you think? I shot Alex and Christian a few weeks ago for their first set of engagement photos.  The first set, we did at the location Christian proposed and Alex went with a more formal feel, but she wanted something Arizona and outdoors, relaxed as well, so we decided to shoot at Papago Park with the views of the mountains, it was a great choice for them.  I love so many of these photos.. hope you do to!

This past month has been so eventful, and hiking up Papago ( for those who know this is not a hike really) with pneumonia and a broken rib, was definitely an adventure. A few weeks ago, before I moved and before I got pretty ill, I ventured out to do a personal project.  We all need to do something for us sometimes.. something that inspires us, that is out of our norm.  I had gone scouting for locations with a good friend of mine Patti Smith a few weeks before this and we had found a gem in the middle of the desert.. so I knew that I wanted to shoot here before the heat dried up all the oasis grass we found.  Kim was kind enough to model for me and Ever After Florals supplied fabulous flower props for me.  Thank you all who participated.. the photos came out better than I had imagined
