{ Family } – The M. Family at Papago Park

This was my first time getting to work with the M. Family and they were so much fun. We met up at Papago Park, in Tempe for some casual family portraits with the beautiful mountain, lake and palm tree scenes that Papago Park is so well know for. Originally we had planned to shoot in the am, but the rain pushed us back to the afternoon. I am glad it did, the blue sky and golden sun were amazing! Thank you again for having me capture your family and I hope to see you all again!

Nothing is better about the holidays than being with your family. This family came from all over the country, as far as Boston, to be with their parents for Christmas, and while they were here, decided to organize some family photographs. I really enjoyed this session, such a fun family, full of laughs and love. Thank you for being so easy to work with, despite your ” warning” of being photo averse, I thought you were fabulous!

I bet you cant guess that the adorable blonde girl is the same sleeping baby in the header with the bear hat on! My how they change ! My contacted me because she wanted to surprise her mother and father with a family session while all the children where here over Thanksgiving. Such a fun idea! I must say this family was so fun and nice to work with, and I even found out that her brother and I worked together many years ago.. back before babies and photography ruled my life Thank you guys for spending the afternoon with me and enjoy your photos. Missy and Talon are some of my favorite people. Missy and I have been friends since college and Talon is my nephew.. Love that crazy little man! The Browns have to be one of my most photographed families. I feel like Tracey and her family are a little miniature extension of my own now. I’ve been blessed to watch their oldest son grow from the time he was about 6 months, until now. Capturing birthdays, holidays and new births. I am so so so so blessed to have relationships with clients like the Browns. Thank you again for having me capture your family’s holiday photos. Nicole had a very specific look in mind when planning her family holiday photos for this year ; it was all about favorite things. ( You know you are singing the song in your head now. ) Let me tell you, Miss Charlie is one fun 3 year old. I do believe in March, when she turns 3, she will have outgrown her own mother. EJ is just the cutest, littlest, carefree thing. Such a fun group to photograph! Thank you Nicole for allowing me to capture so many of your families memories; it is an absolute joy to see your family grow!

Desiree and her family met me last weekend out in Glendale for some fun family portraits for the upcoming holiday season and their little man turning 2! The photo shoot was a ton of fun. 2 year old’s, believe it or not, are one of my absolute favorite ages to photograph. I love how they are just real. Their personalities shine through and while yes, they hardly ever sit still and cooperate, it is one of your last chances to get a “real ” photo of their true personalities. Little M was just one stubborn little boy, although it probably didn’t help that we began the shoot with a fall and bump to the head. He was infatuated with all the oranges on the ground or “balls” as he called them and insisted that his ball become the 4th family member in nearly 90% of the photos. I hope you have a good name picked out for your newest member! thanks again for sharing your morning with me and allowing me to be a part of capturing your lives!

Jen is an old friend of mine. A kindred spirit of sorts. We have been friends longer than we really know. I am sure we were friends in many lifetimes before this one and am certain we will be friends in lifetimes after this one. Her little Mohawk sporting Liam just turned one, so it was time to update the family photo. Even though he had had enough for the day, and we realized he hates grass, we got some wall worthy shots! I had a blast with you guys!
