{ Love } – Claudia and Aaron’s Botanical Garden Engagement

I met Claudia and Aaron last week at the botanical gardens to shoot their engagement. They were such a fun couple to work with, a little shy and timid at first, but we worked with them and got them to loosen up . It was unusually hot, and Monica had to fore-go her ambitions to put David in a sweater for their engagement photos. Despite the change of wardrobe, these two were a blast to get to know. Friends of my parents, I have a lot on my shoulders, photographing these two, who will be married in the Dominican republic next year. Avid big game hunters, the two wore matching bracelets, made from the hair of the elephant and giraffe they both trophied on one of their hunting expeditions. Such a fun and adventurous couple, it was great spending the evening getting to know more about you both!

Jacki and Kenny are to be wed October 2012! We decided to take advantage of the cooling temperatures, we are in the low 100′s now, to go ahead and take some engagement photos. It was just so much fun getting to know these two, and I LOVE Jacki’s outfits and all her accessories. I think I need to pay her to come out and dress me everyday! We walked all around Market Street and even took some time to incorporate their two little ones, Rusty and Shea, for some family photos! I can’t wait to be a part of your wedding day. It promises to be a fantastic event, and with Regina from Meant2Be Events, I am sure it will be a perfectly smooth and beautiful day!

Sarah and Drew were brave to schedule their engagement session during the hottest August Phoenix has ever seen! Lesley and Paul are just so sweet. Lesley has arguably the most gorgeous smile I’ve gotten to photograph in a long time. We braved the hot and humid August weather for an engagement shoot at the always gorgeous Royal Palms Hotel in Scottsdale Arizona. The location boasts some of the most gorgeous architecture and is never disappointing for photographs. Thank you to the both of you for allowing me to capture a tiny bit of the love you have for eachother.

It was a hot July morning… but Sophya, Marcus and I braved the elements to shoot their engagement photos at the ever popular and beautiful Montelucia Resort. Folks, this location is by far one of the most beautiful locations in Arizona. Not only is their property stunning but their employees are super friendly, even offering us water to help save us from heat stroke at 7 am in the morning. { A Hiking We Will Go } – Tony and Abbie

What’s better than hiking up Camelback in late June? Almost anything, really; if I am being honest! But when you throw in a fun couple like Tony and Abbie, 10 pounds of camera equipment, 109 degree heat, and a loose pair of flip flops into the mix, it somehow becomes an enjoyable and somewhat comical experience. Abby lives in Minnesota right now but she and Tony will soon both be in Arizona once their nuptials are finalized! I hope your wedding day is perfect and the move down here is an easy transition, Abbie!

Kim and Jon are just such a fun couple, gorgeous as well! Double Bonus! We decided that a cityscape themed engagement session was perfect for this couple, so we set out on an adventure to find some awesome cool spaces downtown for their photos. I have to say, my favorite was when we found this secluded parking garage and hicked all the way to the top where the city backgrounds were beautiful and the silence was a little eerie. { Friends } – Katelyn and James, engagement at the Montelucia

James was a groomsman in a wedding I shot a few years ago, and I hardly recognized him when I met with him and his fiance Katelyn to discuss their upcoming Fall wedding. I love seeing new brides and grooms emerge from past weddings, and how funny was it that Jame’s face was in my show album, haha. These two are just a lot of fun, always smiling and seemingly in great spirits. I love the great energy they put off, it makes it so easy to work with them. We decided to go with the always gorgeous and always friendly Montelucia resort for their engagement photos. The two loved the venue so much, they actually discussed changing the wedding venue, but decided it was too big of a monetary loss at this point, lol. Seriously though, if you are looking for your venue, you MUST look here, it is fabulous, so friendly and boasts some of the best photo locations. On to the photos
