I have been so blessed with so many friends, clients and brides giving birth this year!  Peyla, however, is one of the few girls I get to photograph.  Yes, most of my babies this year are boys.. it is funny how it comes in waves.  Peyla is the niece of Adam and Amisha who you may remember from their AWESOME 3 day Hindu/Christian blend wedding.  It was just a fun time and I am so honored to continue working with the family and stay in touch with them all.  They really are a special bunch!  Congratulations to the proud parents, and thank you again for letting me photograph your perfect little girl!

Baby Sophie was just a few days old here, and her parents warned me she was a stinker.  She probably wont sleep.. we will probably have a difficult time   well Sophie passed right out and let me position her like a champ.  She was so sweet and easy to work with, it was a joy.  Thank you to her parents for trusting me to capture these precious moments.. they dont last long and it is so wonderful that we were able to capture her tiny moments! Baby Noa was just an ANGEL!  Normally, I like to shoot newborns when they are less than a week old, so when Noa’s parents mentioned she was on her way past 6 weeks old already, I was nervous as to what baby we would get.  This is often a time when the babies transition from sleepy bendy babies to alert, fussy and often time stiff babies.  Noa was none of the above, she slept for hours on end, and aside from a few peeps here and there, she was just the sleepiest, squishiest baby ever. I met Noa’s parents over a year ago at a wedding I was photographing, and I am just so honored that they remembered me and sought me out for their newborn photos.  Thank you again!  Enjoy the previews.

I photographed this little cutie this past summer, and was so happy to come back and photograph her 1st birthday pictures.  She just learned how to walk and was very adamant about being free and not tied down.. which made for an interesting portrait SITTING, lol.  But with mommy’s dance and song skills in the background.. I think we got some winners   BTW  sometimes I wish my second was there just to take photos of the parents entertaining their children     Happy Birthday Princess!!!

I was editing through Mary and James’ wedding today and I came across this image.  I love it for the pure story it tells.  I love how I can see the bride and groom, in front of the church, with all their friends and family united and holding hands wishing them well.  All while Jesus overlooks the entire scene.  Creating pretty wedding photos is always fun, but pushing yourself to capture the day in a story, is the real challenge.  I hope they love this image as much as I do.
