A few weeks ago, before I moved and before I got pretty ill, I ventured out to do a personal project.  We all need to do something for us sometimes.. something that inspires us, that is out of our norm.  I had gone scouting for locations with a good friend of mine Patti Smith a few weeks before this and we had found a gem in the middle of the desert.. so I knew that I wanted to shoot here before the heat dried up all the oasis grass we found.  Kim was kind enough to model for me and Ever After Florals supplied fabulous flower props for me.  Thank you all who participated.. the photos came out better than I had imagined

I have shot this family for a few years now.. and I can’t believe how grown up all the kids have gotten!  The baby is graduating high school this year..so sad!  makes me feel old since I remember when he was still in Jr. high!  Thanks for always being a great sport and trusting me with all your family photos!
