Half Day: 10am-1pm

$250

Business/ Wedding and Lighting Saturday, Feb 25th 2012

Full day 10am-8pm

Please arrive 30 minutes early for registration

$300 for half day participants ( business or lighting not both)
$450for full day participants

There are NO refunds. If you sign up and are unable to attend you are responsible for finding your own replacement.

Location will be determined by number of participants, but will be in the central valley Tempe/Scottsdale area

What Workshop is Right For Me?

The half day option is perfect for those who need to gain a better understanding the basics of shooting in manual. We will cover aperture, ISO, And shutter speed as well as composition rules and how to find the light to create better images. You should already know how to adjust your camera to shoot manually.

The business/advance full day option is for those of you looking to start or further your business skills. We will cover topics such as starting your company, taxes, organization and many others. This workshop also offers a more advance look into the shooting aspects, such as using on and off camera lighting, model shoots with wedding clients, and much much more.

What Do You Need to Bring?

Your camera, lenses, flash, memory cards and MANUAL

A camera bag

A laptop to process your images with Adobe Lightroom & Photoshop if you have them.

(You can download a free trial of both at www.adobe.com)

If you do not have a laptop, you can share screens with others, however we recommend you bring one.

{ Heather and Tom } – Tucson Engagement Session

Heather and Tom met at school in Tucson, so they thought it would be the perfect backdrop for their engagement photos. I love getting to explore new places and since I only get to Tucson once or twice a year, it was a great change of scenery for me. Stephanie and Ryan’s wedding was beautiful! Gorgeous bride, handsome groom and lots of DIY details and glitter– we all know how I love things that sparkle.. what girl doesn’t? Ever After Floral did such a beautiful job on all the flower details, don’t you think? Nathan from Infinity Entertainment was a hit.. except for from the guy that got whacked in the face during one of the games.. but hey.. whats a wedding without some drama Thank you both again and Enjoy! Val and Lee are to be wed next Spring and I am super excited to see what they do with their venue! I just love their choice of colors here.. I love jewel tones against the spring desert palette, it is just so pretty!

{ Alex and Christian, part 2 } – Papago Park Engagement Photos

I shot Alex and Christian a few weeks ago for their first set of engagement photos. The first set, we did at the location Christian proposed and Alex went with a more formal feel, but she wanted something Arizona and outdoors, relaxed as well, so we decided to shoot at Papago Park with the views of the mountains, it was a great choice for them. I love so many of these photos.. hope you do to!

This past month has been so eventful, and hiking up Papago ( for those who know this is not a hike really) with pneumonia and a broken rib, was definitely an adventure. { Personal Project } – Arizona Maternity Portraits

A few weeks ago, before I moved and before I got pretty ill, I ventured out to do a personal project. We all need to do something for us sometimes.. something that inspires us, that is out of our norm. I had gone scouting for locations with a good friend of mine Patti Smith a few weeks before this and we had found a gem in the middle of the desert.. so I knew that I wanted to shoot here before the heat dried up all the oasis grass we found. Kim was kind enough to model for me and Ever After Florals supplied fabulous flower props for me. Thank you all who participated.. the photos came out better than I had imagined

The baby is graduating high school this year..so sad! makes me feel old since I remember when he was still in Jr. high!
