Tori and Syndrick have been sooo super patient in seeing their sneak peaks. I tell you, this past few weeks has been baby bonanza around here. I’ve hardly been home to edit and such. Instead I’ve been out snuggling and photographing all these cute babies! But Thank you Tori and Syndrick for being patient with me, for allowing me to witness your special day, and for being just some great and fun clients to work with. Congratulations again!
Stephanie is one of my brides from last fall, and she welcomed her first child into this world this past Sunday. SUCH a DOLL, I really really love babies. If I’ve shot your newborn you know this! Jordan was just a sleepy little snuggle bug, and while he had his moments, he was really good for me, sleeping almost the entire time I was there. Thanks again Stephanie for allowing me to photograph this time in your life, and blessings to you and your new family!
As parents, we sacrifice. We sacrifice our time, our money, our bodies, our sleep, and sometimes our sanity for our children. The sacrifices we make as parents are all to give our children the bright future that we all so much desire them to have. Some parents’ sacrifice goes beyond, such as baby Kingston’s parents sacrifice. His father is stationed in Afghanistan right now, and although he was able to come home for a few short days to see his baby be born and hold him, he had to return to duty just a few short days after his son was born. He and his wife’s sacrifice far surpass anything I could sacrifice as a parent. Their strength is beyond my comprehension, and their gift to their child is also the greatest gift to my children. Because of Mommy’s and Daddy’s like Kingston’s, my children have freedom. Freedom to dream, big or small. Freedom to sing, quiet or loud. Freedom to be whoever or whatever they wish. Freedom to believe in whoever or whatever they choose. The time that will go by while his daddy is away, is a sacrifice of time that may never be gained back. He may not hear his child’s first word, see him roll over for the first time, crawl, walk, and the list may go on. But he will see his child prosper. He will see his child in a world with endless possibilities with endless potential. As parents, that is the ultimate dream for our children. A dream that can come true, because of daddy’s like you. Thank you Jordan and every man and woman who gives our children the gift of endless possibilities.
Lily was just a sweet as they come. Although she teased her mama all night last night and never let her rest, she was just the sleepiest little thing for our session today. Finally a cooperative wee one! Lily’s mama is really big on classic, so we went black and white with minimal props for this precious little one. Congratulations to the P family on their new addition!
Tracey and Mike welcomed their newest addition Cailyn, last week. I was super excited to meet her and capture the first few days for them. Cailyn was a little alert thing, not really wanting to sleep much for us, but we got some super cute shots of her in the rare peaceful moments she gave us. Congrats Tracey, Mike, and Mason, your little Cailyn is beautiful!
