Jessa and Matt will be sealed tomorrow at the Mesa LDS Temple.  Jessa wanted some photos for a display for their reception so we decided to go out for a pre-wedding bridal session, which we were immediately kicked out of.  I had never shot at this location before but Jessa found a cute little office building location with great architecture.  However,  just as we started the first look we were asked to leave by an ominous man holding a clipboard and wearing a blue tooth… yeah, he looked cool!  Anyways, after some traveling  we got what we needed  and all ended fine;  just another story to add to the collection.  ;)

I feel like I know this family so well.  I have photographed their daughter’s senior photos, family Christmas photos, engagement photos, and now a wedding!  I am so lucky when I come into contact with clients like Meghan and Eric’s family who really allow me to become a part of their world and capture the important times for them.  It was a perfect evening.  With BBQ and campfires, hedgehogs, cute cupcakes, and lots of love.  Thank you for having me as a part of your special day!  Have fun in Alaska, Meg.  Bring lots of warm clothes,  and you know what they say happens in the cold weather…

Brandy and Jon will be wed next month in a super private ceremony in FIGI!! They then will return to the states for their reception.  So,  before their big wedding we had to head out to get some engagement photos!  Congrats again you two!  Can’t wait to shoot the reception for you

Amisha and Adam rank up there with some of my all time favorite bride and grooms.  I feel like such a part of their family;  having spent so much time with them at their wedding, continuing to photograph their niece,  and now their own baby! I am soooo HAPPY for you guys!  Thank you for coming and joining me in Sedona for some great maternity shots.   Cant wait to meet the little guy/gal in a month or so!  EEK!

I am always so conscious of having a lady lay down as it often makes the breathing harder for them. Recently discovered that to shoot with them standing, you can rotate the image to get a "laying down" look. :-) great work. D.

Lindsay’s wedding was on that really cold, wet, windy rainy day last April.  You know the one… where the high was freakishly low,  at like 60 degrees or something insane!  Lindsay, being hopeful for Arizona sunshine in her photos, was a little disappointed when we couldn’t head outdoors for her bridal portraits, so we scheduled a re-shoot without the rain. Thank you to the folks at The Four Seasons for being so great about letting us come back for the shoot!
