I have been friends with Corissa and Spencer for a LONG time now.  I think we have done 4 portrait sessions and a wedding with them.  So of course I was ecstatic when I found out that Corissa and Spencer were expecting a baby girl and wanted me to be a part in documenting their adventure into parenthood!  Corissa, you are as beautiful as always, and it is always good seeing you and Spencer.  See you soon when baby gets here!  Can’t wait!!!!!!!!!

Another long overdue wedding post.  I usually am on top of the blog, but having been out of town for a week or so, things got a little behind.  I hope Lori and Matt will forgive me   You probably recognise these two from their previous sessions.  They are another one of my fabulous bride and grooms who love to have their photo taken.  These two are absolutely the best together.  I know I say that a lot, and I always mean it.  I just have so many couples who I believe are good fits.  Now, maybe they are always on their best behavior, but after spending countless hours with these two, i can say that they treat each other so well.. they respect each other, and are just the best of friends.  Lori is able to be her true self, and Matt love who she really is, and it shows so much when they are together.  Can’t wait to continue working with you guys!  Enjoy   More on facebook for you and your friends

I apologize for the delay, I was away this past week in Colorado for a beautiful wedding.  Unfortunately I didn’t have time to blog this wedding before I left, so I am sure Jasmine has been impatiently tapping her foot awaiting her gorgeous wedding photos!

The two were married last Saturday at beautiful Casa de Cristo Lutheran Church in Scottsdale Arizona, and followed up with a gorgeous reception at Gray Hawk Golf Club.

Terry and Cindy live in Pennsylvania, but are avid golfers, and thus, spend time here in Arizona frequently.  One of their favorite places to golf is The Boulders in Cave Creek Arizona.  I must agree, the landscaping is breathtaking!  The natural formations there are just fabulous!  Cindy was such and emotional bride, it was hard to fight back my own tears. I appreciate it when people wear their emotions openly.  It makes for some great connections and photographs.  I had a great time with the both of you.  Terry, your jokester side always makes us laugh and Cindy, you have a heart as big as the moon!  I loved being a part of your special day, Thank You!

So, my trip down to Selena and BJ’s wedding was one that will be remembered for a very long time.  As you know, the I-10 down to Tucson is an unpredictable road, especially when there is a dust storm and or high winds.. which is exactly what happened Sunday the 2nd.  A high wind advisory was in effect for the evening, so my second shooter Jeanette and I headed out early to make the trip a little early, just in case.. and I am so happy we did.  There was a massive accident which closed down the freeway for nearly 10 miles, however, by some creepy reason, Jeanette and I were escorted off the freeway just in time to miss the mass line that had formed, people were standing on the freeway, obviously not going anywhere for a while.  However, we zipped by and actually had little problem.  I can’t imagine if we had been just 5 minutes earlier, we surely would have missed the wedding.  when we looked on the news, the freeway had been closed for 5 hours due to a fatality and all those poor people were stranded forever.  So surely, something was watching over Selena, BJ, Jeanette and I, to help bring us to them on time!  When we got there, it was windy and sprinkling, but the bride and groom were in such good spirits.  These two just exude a good feeling, happiness and calmness flows from them and you can’t help sense what wonderful people they are.  We had an awesome time playing with the location and coming up with, in my opinion, some pretty rockin photos !!  The groom was especially candid with his emotions, which lead to some great shots.  When his best man read a letter from his brother who had been deployed, I think everyone lost it.  I was so honored to have been witness to the emotion and now you all can check it out!!

Gayle - I have been searching for good reviews on The Oasis at Wild Horse Ranch....I must say there are not many out there. What was the date of this wedding (GORGEOUS photography, by the way). Do you recommend it?? Thanks!
