As the year comes to a close, I have to take the time to thank you all.  Thank you for making my dreams come true, thank you for making it possible to do what I love!  Each one of you, weather you realize it or not, impacts me significantly.  The relationships I have formed over the years with some of my clients are some of my most treasured.  I am flattered and honored that you all have entrusted me to capture some of the most special times of your lives, from the engagement to the newborn babies!!  Speaking of which, I have quite a few brides expecting this year!  Congratulations to Megan, Heather, Corissa, Alyssa, Jen, Missy, Heather, Matt and all my other expectant moms and dad’s.  I am sorry If I missed you, let me know I cant wait to see what 2010 has in store for us, as I continue to create new friends, and build on memories with old friends.  Happy New Year! See you in 2010… we’re off to see MICKEY!

I met up with Candice and her family yesterday at the Scottsdale Civic Center for some Family Portraits. The family is scattered about the country, so the holiday’s are a special time when they all come together.  Candice thought it was important to capture this moment and update some of those 1980′s family portraits hanging in her parent’s house   Thank you guys for a wonderful session.. hope you all had safe travels back home.

I am late in posting this, but I wanted to wish you all a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. I am not shooting much these last two weeks of the year.  Instead I am winding down, spending time with the family and getting all in order for a new year.  I can’t wait for all that I have scheduled for next year, it promises to be a great one!  I don’t have any photos of my Christmas to share.. my husband bought me a Flip and I spent the whole day recording video, I forgot to pick up my camera!  I do have some great video of the day, Click here to see my kids in action: video-17

We are off to Disneyland.. I promise to take more photos while there for you all.. and stay tuned, the blog is about to go through a dramatic face lift

Kristin and Ryan were sealed this past friday at the Mesa, LDS temple.  They followed with a beautiful reception at the Harris Building.  I loved their decor, to tie into the wintery theme, the room was covered in white sheers with red accents.  Very Festive!.  Kristin, you are gorgeous and I hope Ryan knows what a Lucky guy he is!  Happy Holidays and Congratualations.

My youngest daughter celebrated her THIRD birthday this Saturday.  To celebrate, we headed up to Payson/Pine to let the kids pay in the snow.  I had a cover shoot for Golf Industry Magazine early Sunday morning in Payson, so we thought Pine was a great place to get away to.  You can see some of my shooting experience here.  Contractual agreements with the magazine prevent me from showing any images until the magazine has been published, but I will share once I am able   Ryleigh thought the cold was too much and wanted to get back into the car almost as soon as we got out into the snow.  Ashlynn had a great time throwing snow balls at Daddy.  She wanted to make snow angels, but she was too cold.  Here are some photos from the trip.
