Sara and Todd were married this past Saturday in a ceremony held at the Wright House in Mesa AZ.  The weather was beautiful during the ceremony, forecast was for rain, but luckily it held off until after the ceremony took place.  Todd’s daughter was so full of emotion and I caught her with tears running down her face int he middle of the ceremony, happy tears   It was enough to make me almost loose it myself.  Best wished to the two of you and have a blast in Las Vegas!

For the girls’ party my husband wanted to go to Amazing Jake’s instead of the party we throw at our house every year.  He thought it would be easier, no clean up and lots for the kids to do, but lets just say next year I am INSISTING it be back at our house again.  I hated being rushed out of our party room, forcing the  kids to be confined in a small NOISY poorly lit room and eat cake when they were so distracted by all the toys outside was hard.  Then having to wrangle and keep an eye on the kids was a mess and I didn’t even get a chance to say good bye to half my guests since it was so HUGE, everyone just sort of meandered out when they felt they had enough.  It just isn’t my style of party I guess.  But the kids loved the toys and rides, so there was a positive.  I think a bounce house in the backyard would have done the same trick, lol.  I guess I am upset that I was too busy trying to keep up with their schedule I didn’t have time to enjoy it or even take any pics   Here are some photos from the party  The cake was made by Carol at www.sugarbuzzcakes.com   It was yummy.

Jessica and Israel were sealed in the San Diego Temple this past Saturday and followed up with a beautiful sunset dinner at the FAB tower 23 in San Diego.  The two are from Las Vegas, but Jessica has always dreamed about getting sealed in the San Diego Temple, in fact it is where Israel proposed to her.  I met the two while I was photographing Krista and Davids wedding back in August and we hit it off so well, the wanted me to come back and shoot their event!  I had a blast with you guys in the ocean and hope that your photos are everything you have ever dremed of

jodie & Gil - wow these pictures are amazing. You two look beautiful together, we are so happy for both of you and very sorry we missed this special day. We can't wait to see the rest of them.

So, I know I say it a lot, but I really love my job.  This weekend, I had a wedding in San Diego, so we packed up the whole family and make a little weekend trip of it.   The girls had a blast at Balboa Park, the beach and Sea World.  And I had so much fun watching them enjoy the trip.  I love being able to provide the memories to my family while doing something I am so passionate about.  I really  have been blessed in this life.
